37 University Avenue East, Windsor, ON
RAEON and INCUBATOR Art Lab hosted an evening where art, science, and water technologies could come together.
Beneath the surface of the Great Lakes, a hidden world is in motion: currents circulate, oxygen rises and falls, and microscopic life responds to shifts in light, temperature, and nutrient cycles. Distributed across the basin, networks of scientific instruments quietly monitor these processes, taking the pulse of living waters through continuous and real-time measurements. For one evening, RAEON and INCUBATOR Art Lab brought this offshore, unseen, and essential infrastructure into public view, reimagining scientific instruments as installation art. School of Creative Arts Faculty Dr. Jennifer Willet also debuted a new prototype artwork Algae Dress.
