On November 12th 2021, INCUBATOR Art Lab team member Nate Talbot presented a workshop during Founders Week YQG (beta). Founders Week YQG (beta) was a week-long event hosted by WEtech Alliance in collaboration with WindsorEssex Small Business and Entrepreneurship Centre, EPICentre and Genesis Entrepreneurship Centre. During this event, entrepreneurs, innovators, changemakers, educators and artists, to name a few, were brought together to celebrate what Windsor has to offer.

Nate Talbot presented Machine Learning Meets Bioart, a workshop where participants created machine-learning generated creatures using web-based AI programs. At the beginning of the presentation, Nate introduced participants to the INCUBATOR Art Lab team at the University of Windsor, School of Creative Arts, and Dr Jennifer Willet's bioart work and research at the lab.

Nate's workshop taught viewers how to create a completed artwork on the program Runway ML, just as he does in his art practice. Nate is a 2nd year MFA graduate student at the University of Windsor who specializes in 3D rendering, 3D scanning, VR model design, machine learning and holography. Nate also has a background in philosophy and is interested in technologically produced simulations and real biological structures.
